‘A’ intentionally and falsely misleads ‘B’ to believe that ‘A’ is the owner of the land. Relying on the statement of ‘A’, ‘B’ purchases the land and pays for it. The land afterwards becomes the property of ‘A’. ‘A’ files a suit to set aside the sale on the ground that at the time of the sale, he had no title. Can he succeed? Discuss.
